Kardon: 2004 Freedoms Head Coach

Craig Kardon will return to the World TeamTennis Pro League as head coach of the Philadelphia Freedoms this summer.  Freedoms General Manager Lisa Lauck announced the team has agreed to a new deal with Kardon, who last coached the 2002 WTT Delaware Smash.

The 2004 Freedoms season, presented by Advanta, runs from July 5-25 with seven home matches to be played at Cabrini College in Radnor.

"Craig's professionalism and his experience working with some of the top players in the world will help develop a Championship contending team," said Lauck.

Kardon played professionally on the ATP Tour from 1984-1988.  He was also a pro touring coach from 1-88-2001 for top women players like Martina Navratilova, Lisa Raymond, Zina Garrison, and Lindsay Davenport.  He currently runs High Performance Tennis Camps throughout the U.S.
