DelTri Suburban Tennis League wraps up the season!
The DelTri Suburban Tennis League wrapped up another great season of tennis this past week. The league, comprised of 60 teams spread across 6 divisions, is one of the largest winter ladies leagues in Middle States. Each match consists of 6 doubles matches that are best 2 out of 3 sets or timed matches.
The Division 1 winner is Great Valley 1 from Great Valley Racquet Club.  Division 1  is the strongest division and includes ladies in the range of 4.0-5.0 NTRP ratings.
St. Alban’s 1, which plays out of Radnor Valley Country Club, took the crown at Division 2.

Division 3 was won by Tennis Addiction 3 from Tennis Addiction Sports Club in Exton.

UMLY 2 from the Upper Main Line YMCA in Berwyn won Division 4.
Brandywine 5 from Brandywine Racquet Club won Division 5, and finally St. Albans 2 won Division 6.

At the end of the season, the league gives $200 to the charity of each division winner’s choice.
The top teams in each division also get the chance to challenge UP and play in the next division up next year by playing the last place team in that division in a playoff match at the end of the season. Playoffs occurred on March 22nd, and Tennis Addiction 3 from Division 3 advanced to Division 2, Brandywine 5 advanced to Division 4, and St. Alban’s 2 advanced to Division 5.
